With the expansion of the Lower Mainland, businesses and residences are being pushed further out from the Greater Vancouver hub, increasing development interest in the still spacious region of the Fraser Valley. Beautiful views of the Golden Ears mountains, the dykes, and Pitt Lake which is a favourite for boating, fishing, camping and hiking make the area very attractive for families that wish the proximity to Vancouver, but not the city life. Businesses requiring space for their operations, while maintaining nearness to Vancouver and other parts of the GVRD, will find the perfect spot in Pitt Meadows-Maple Ridge. The Golden Ears bridge connector to Langley, as well as closeness to the U.S. Border, BC North and Interior, Vancouver Island, the province of Alberta and being seated right on the shores of the Fraser River (with a float dock and ramp) makes Pitt Meadows Airport the prime location for business in the Lower Mainland.

Transportation links the airport finds itself close to include the Trans Canada Hwy No. 1 via the Golden Ears bridge connector, water transportation via the Fraser River, the railway and the airport itself.

The Airport occupies 646 acres of land. Over 325 acres are still available for development. Our lot-sizes are not pre-determined, and are subject to negotiation.

Our 5000 sq ft terminal area is wheelchair accessible, has a passenger lounge with a spectacular view, a restaurant with catering capability and washroom facilities. Rounding off our amenities is the Pilot’s Kiosk, free wifi internet and courtesy phone.

4700 ft main asphalt runway 100 ft wide – 100 000 lb capable
Two 2500 ft asphalt runways for light aircraft 75 ft wide

CAN PASS: Pitt Meadows Airport is designated as an AOE (Airport of Entry) for CANPASS holders only. Canada Border Services Agency staff is available on call to handle entry for general aviation aircraft carrying no more than 15 passengers (including the crew). Runway extension plans are in place to extend our 4700 ft runway to 5000ft, allowing for regional turboprop and jet service, as well as additional taxiways and an end-of-runway turnaround. Further runway enhancement to 150’ x 6000’ can be achieved on existing airport property.
