Pitt Meadows Open House and COPA For Kids Flight

Pitt Meadows, B.C. (March 30, 2011): COPA Flight 16 - Aero Club of BC will host an Open House and a COPA For Kids Flight Program at Pitt Meadows Airport, commencing at 1000 on Sunday 26 June. Folks attending the breakfast at Langley will have time to fly over to Pitt Meadows for these events. Three cadet groups will be in attendance in WW II uniforms and will parade with a band in front of a reviewing stand. Vintage Wings of Canada and The Canadian Museum of Flight will each fly their aircraft over for static display.

Some of the COPA Flight 72 - BC Floatplane Association aircraft are based at Pitt Meadows and will initiate their destination flights from there. This will provide an opportunity for the COPA Fly-In AGM delegates to participate in the Pitt Meadows activities and perhaps experience a float plane flight as well.

More information about the COPA can be found on their website at: http://www.copanational.org
