Safety & Security is very important for us here at YPK.

Your safety and security, and the security of your property and belongings are our utmost priority. The Pitt Meadows Airport Safety Officer works with our management team to ensure that existing airport regulations are complied with. The Safety Officer tracks, monitors and investigates safety and security breaches, AVOP and AVOP-D infractions, trespassing (being in a restricted area without an escort or valid airport ID) and works closely with local emergency responders. In addition, for your convenience, we have a 24/7 Airport Safety Line. AVOP/AVOP-D is a requirement for all people driving airside. The documents are available for download in our login section.

To make appointments for an AVOP-D test, please call the office during business hours to arrange.
