Coast Dog Aviation Ltd. is operated by Dale Floyd, and is based in the Pitt Meadows Airpark. Dale brings over 30 years experience in the industry, having begun his aircraft career as a youngster in the Air Cadets. He began repairing planes in his teens, helping other mechanics, and then went through the process of acquiring his certifications. Coast Dog Aviation was opened in 2010, after he had worked several years for other companies. The name Coast Dog was chosen, in a nod to the years he spent flying float planes up and down the BC coast. Coast Dog will handle aircraft inspections, modifications and installations, repairs, structures and welding. Dale also offers pre-purchase inspections and assistance with plane imports. They have extensive experience with engine upgrades, propellers, float and amphib installations and many other repairs, modifications, upgrades, alterations, customizations - anything you need done on your plane.
